I asked the band to walk up into the tall weeds in the backyard. Peter Gabriel went first, Steve Hackett followed. As he reached the top, Peter turned around: like fortelling the future, he gazed at Phil Collins, Mike Rutherdord and Tony Banks, stopped still in the group that became Genesis of the '80s. Steve Hackett was 'solo' in the middle, looking at Peter. This photo was clicked in early 1972, before the band went on that first Italian tour that changed their lives.
